JOHN RIGGS: Lead guitar. (JUMP STREET)
STEVE LINES: Rhythm guitar.

THE INDICATORS #4:

ran a pub which was the sole reason he was in the band. Stef Hardie and Hugh Kirkbride
came from THE SECOND COMING who split in July 1980. Steve Lines and Glen Kitley were
sacked for "not taking the band seriously enough" and the remaining five members
continued for three more gigs as THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE FIVE.

rock' band called THE MYSTERY GIRLS with Mark Angell (MAXIMUM ATTACK), Nigel Easton (THE
SLAUGHTERHOUSE FIVE) and Dave Seal (STICKY WICKET). The band falls apart leaving Steve and
Dave. They continue to write songs and link up again with Steve Case and Jeff Grundy.
THE CREEPY CRAWLIES: November 1982 to December 1982
This line up has a couple of rehearsals before falling apart. Dave Seal joins (THE
GENERALS) and Nick Barnes leaves to move to Bristol. This leaves the three original

day.

They play an ad hoc gig on June 26th at a garden party in Hilmarton and play the
"Mutant Rock" party the next evening at Compton Bassett.

JERRY JOHNSON: Vocals.
STEVE LINES also writes with Mark Angell during the first half of 1983 with plans
to form a band called ROOM 101.
In March they decide on a name change to THE VICTIMS OF CIRCUMSTANCE.
Various line-ups rehearse featuring Colin Fielding (guitar), Peter Heginbotham (Bass),
Mike Russell (drums), Steve Lines (guitar) and Mark Angell (Vocals). Mark Angell sacks
Steve because he shouts at band members!
April: Colin Fielding quits. Angell re-instates Steve on bass after Peter Heginbotham
looses interest. Leroy Lugg and Bod join but never make it to a rehearsal.
In May Leroy Lugg leaves and Lines, Angell and Bod start rehearsing on a regular basis.
Nick Barnes is tried out unsuccessfully as a keyboard player.
